While teenagers face enormous challenges and pressures, they have tremendous potential. Effective prevention and comprehensive intervention efforts with vulnerable youth can break the cycle of poverty for Illinois teens, diverting individuals from a path toward a lifetime of poverty and onto a path toward a productive, healthy future.
